Daniel Holzberg

Born and raised in Munich, Daniel discovered his passion for acting and directing at an early age and has devoted all of his energy to his craft ever since. While completing a BA in Acting at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding (2013-2017), he appeared on stage at the Metropoltheater, Teamtheater, Theater... und so fort in Munich and Torturmtheater Sommerhausen. His film credits include "The young Karl Marx" (Dir.: R. Peck), "Elja" (Dir.: Willi Kubica) and "Trautmann" (Dir.: M. Rosenmüller). After gathering experience shooting showreel scenes for actors during his final year at acting school, he produced, wrote and directed his first German short film "Der Resozialisierungsbeauftragte" in 2018 about an employment advisor who works with convicted offenders soon to be released from prison. Currently he is employed as an actor at the rep theatre "Landestheater Tübingen".
